====== Configuring Timesheet NG ====== On the Configuration page, the timesheet administrator can setup the behaviour and the look and feel of the timesheet application. ===== ACL - access control list ===== The ACL is set per module and is role-based, that is every user has an access level allocated and each module (or page) has a required level defined in order to access it. The defined user roles are "administrator", "manager" and "basic", these can be set on the user admin page. Logically the precedence is admin > manager > basic, so it is not possible to set a page for only basic users. A manager can see everything that a basic user can access too. On the configuration page, the adminstrator can set the required level to access each module/page via a set of drop-down selections. There is an additional level of "None" defined, that allows an adminstrator to disable a module or page completely (no-one can access the feature). Disabled modules or ones which require a higher access level than the current user do not appear on the top-menu.
